Pay for the seconds you use
Prepaid credit, charged for exactly as long as a sandbox runs — no minimum, no rounding up, and provisioning time is not billed. No subscription, no seats, no minimum spend. An account with no running sandboxes costs nothing.

How that compares
| Size | Here | Same shape on E2B's rates | |
|---|---|---|---|
small | $0.09 | $0.17 | 46% less |
medium | $0.28 | $0.33 | 15% less |
large | $0.55 | $0.66 | 17% less |
The E2B column is their published $0.000014/vCPU/second and $0.0000045/GiB/second applied to the same vCPU and memory, read from e2b.dev/pricing on 22 August 2026. It is our arithmetic on their rate card, not a figure they quote, and it excludes their $150/month Pro plan. Check it yourself — the full comparison shows where they are ahead of us, too.
What that works out to
Agent test run
A 10-minute small sandbox: about $0.015. The $5 of credit you get on signup covers roughly 56 hours of small sandbox time.
Continuous evaluation
1,000 sandboxes a month at 5 minutes each on the small size: $7.50.
Long-running build
A 2-hour medium sandbox: $0.56.
Limits you should know before you buy
20 concurrent sandboxes
Per account, provisioning plus running. Going over returns 429 until one is destroyed. Need more? Ask — it is a number in your account, not a hard product limit.
1440 minutes maximum lifetime
A sandbox is destroyed when its timeout expires, extensions included. Sandboxes are disposable by design; nothing inside survives.
1 MiB of output per stream
Anything beyond that is truncated and flagged. Write large results to a file and fetch what you need.
Credit packs
Buy credit in whatever size suits you. Larger packs are not discounted — the rate is the same regardless of how much credit you hold.
$10
About 111 hours of small sandbox runtime.
$25
About 278 hours of small sandbox runtime.
$100
About 1,111 hours of small sandbox runtime.
Billing questions
How is runtime measured?
From the moment a sandbox becomes ready to the moment it is destroyed, billed for the time it runs. Provisioning time is not billed. A sandbox that is destroyed before it becomes ready is not billed at all.
Does credit expire?
No. Prepaid credit stays on the account until it is spent.
What happens when I run out of credit?
Running sandboxes are stopped and new ones cannot be created until you top up. You are never billed beyond the credit you have purchased, and we never charge a card automatically.
Is there a free tier?
New accounts receive $5 of runtime credit — about 56 hours on the small size. No credit card is required to sign up, and we never charge a card automatically.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Every purchase generates a Stripe receipt sent to your email, and invoices are available from the billing section of the dashboard.
